What Is the Valid Form of Identification?

When you write a request for Nightforce’s military discount, you will need to include a valid form of identification. The accepted form will vary based on your military status. 

If you are currently serving, either in the military, government, or law enforcement agency, Nightforce requires that you use your .mil or government email address to send a request for Nightforce’s military discount. 

This address serves as your form of identification. That means you don’t need to attach any additional documents, such as a government-issued ID or a military ID. They will not be accepted.

If you are a retired or veteran member of the military, Nightforce requires that you include a document to prove your military service. Nightforce accepts the following documents:

• VA Health ID Card
• State Issued ID Cards
• State/County Issued Veteran ID Cards
• Drivers Licenses with Veteran Status
• Service Organization ID Cards from the VFW or American Legion.

Keep in mind that Nightforce does not accept DD-214 forms as a form of identification. To protect confidential information and guarantee accountability, Nightforce will not accept these forms.
